 | | The Georges consists of brothers Lance “Tater” Beck, Jacob Beck, and their cousin Jason | | | George. On bass since December is Memphis man Aaron Covington. The band plays an amalgam of Rockabilly, (good) early country with strong ties to the Bakersfield sound, and the music of their heroes, The Fab Four. What results with their originals is a melodic blend of catchy, danceable music that gets folks a movin’ and a shakin’ on the dance floor of legendary Texas venues like Gruene Hall. Added to their sets are covers from the likes of Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash, Elvis and other all time greats. The band also prides themselves on their retro look, with drummer Lance adding, “People come not just to hear your band, but to see you as well. Folks show up and see us presentable and dapper, and there’s immediately a respect between performer and audience. Not only did we prepare to play well for you, but we dressed up for you too."”
